Big bikes have always been a fantasy for most men, especially those who love the open road and drive as if there is no tomorrow. Huge two-wheelers adorning the city’s long open highway or busy concrete streets are a masculine sight, whether it’s a massive cruiser like a Harley Davidson or a super sports bike like the BMW F800ST.

Big bikes are expensive from the moment they roll out the assembly line, which means that few of them can own and service them. However, some of those massive two-wheeled beasts are reasonably priced and designed for those whose passion for big bikes is second to none and whose wallets are thick. Here are the 10 most expensive big bikes in the world.

1) Million Dollar Harley Davidson: $1 Million

Artist Jack Armstrong unveils his “Cosmic Starship” Harley Davidson on October 21, 2010 in Marina Del Rey, California. Priced at USD one million, this is the world’s first and only million dollar Harley. Armstrong was a protege of Andy Warhol and his paintings retail for 300K to 2M USD. AFP PHOTO / GABRIEL BOUYS

The only Harley Davidson is wearing the $ 1 million price tag; this particular superbike is the most expensive in the world. But while some would think that the mighty six-cylinder engine and the frame of the Harley bike give their value, it indeed comes from their unique styling, the care of artist Jack Armstrong. Called “Cosmic Starship,” the motorcycle features Armstrong’s unique art approach known as Cosmic Existentialism.

5) Ecosse FE Ti XX: $300,000

Exotic yet functional, Ecosse’s superbikes are made from the rarest materials yet meet the best standards. This FE Ti XX is all that and much more. 6) NCR M16: $232,500

It’s hard to think that the NCR M16, as beautiful and powerful as it is, is just a modification of something else. But that is the case. This superbike is the berserk version of the already robust Ducati Desmosedici RR. A carbon fiber frame, rocker, and wheels and ceramic matrix composite for brakes. NCR M16 is also a very lightweight superbike. The V4 engine, on the other hand, is a perfect complement to the overall design of the bike. With 200 hp, this beast is apparently a fast superbike.

7) MTT Turbine Streetfighter: $175,000

Installed with Rolls Royce’s bestial Allison turbine engine, the MTT Turbine Streetfighter can efficiently produce 320 horsepower. That’s equivalent to 249 miles per hour tops. And as you thought, it can not get better; it can. The MTT Turbine Streetfighter which can update to 420 hp. And you can imagine what that means.

8) MV Agusta F4CC: $120,000

Whether it’s worth the big price or not, you decide.

9) Vyrus 987 C3 4V V: $91,700

Most people do not know the name Vyrus, and that’s a good thing. Few know that Vyrus has some of the world’s most robust motorcycles in production, and the Vyrus 987 C3 4V V is among them. Aesthetically, this baby looks like a motorcycle from the future, but its steering and handling are superb. Powered by a Ducati-sourced 1198cc V-twin engine, it seems almost impossible to overtake this great Behemoth of Vyrus.

10) NCR Leggera 1200: $72,000

Lightweight is something that most people can not mark on huge motorcycles, but the concept seems to find its position with the NCR Leggera 1200.
